It's recommended in almost all guides. But here's the thing: someone doesn't have to actually die to create that emotional rollercoaster.

✨New item!✨ Quill of the Nighthawk Wondrous item, rare

This writing quill is made from an ethereal nighthawk's flight feather that has been enchanted to enhance its connection to the Ethereal Plane. The quill has 4 charges and regains 1d4 expended charges daily at dawn. It magically produces its own ink. 

As an action, you can expend 1 charge to write a message up to one-hundred words long with this quill on a piece of parchment and send it to a creature with which you are familiar as per the sending spell. The parchment instantly folds itself into a miniature nighthawk and travels through the Border Ethereal to deliver itself to the recipient on their plane of existence. The parchment nighthawk takes 1 minute to reach its recipient and is intangible while in transit: immune to all damage and conditions. The recipient can respond by writing on the parchment, which will re-fold and return itself to you, so long as they do so within 24 hours of receiving the message. The sender can choose to have the parchment nighthawk recite the message it contains aloud upon delivery, doing so in the sender’s voice. 

Alternatively, you can use the quill to transport a spell scroll to a creature of your choosing. As an action, you can touch the quill to a spell scroll and expend a number of charges equal to half the spell’s level (rounded up) to transform it into a parchment nighthawk. The parchment nighthawk will deliver itself as if it were a message, and unfold to become a spell scroll again when it reaches the recipient. The nighthawk cannot be returned to the sender when used in this way.

Once a year, the ethereal nighthawk molts and leaves feathers behind. Therian Food Recipes!

(Note: There will be no exact measurements bc I don't use measuring cups and stuff lol)

I came up with a fake dog food brand that is an amalgamation of a lot of other dog food brands. I’m gonna make like printable labels and stuff maybe? So if you try these recipes you can like, print these off and label your stuff lol  

I’ll add to this list as I make recipes lol. 

Lil backstory i guess on why i decided to do this. Well im like a therian. Clearly. But also i have arfid. I like soft mushy foods. I like that kinda stuff. I also have gastro issues. Im always sick. So i kinda like, don;t like eating period. But eating “dog food” helps with my arfid and also my species dysphoria i guess??? Idk.. lol i dont really know whats wrong with my brain :PP 

Maybe I’ll also try and make canned foods for other theriotypes too? :O maybe even dry foods? Idk :PP 

I decided to call the brand Furian sounds just like purian but with a fur sound at the beginning lol

FURINA BEYOND:  CANNED THERIAN FOOD

Furian Puppy Fur-sentials

1 package french vanilla cake mix

Four egg yolks 

Little bit of egg whites

Salt (not too much)

Almond milk

Sprite 

Dye the batter with Equal parts green and red food dye, to enhance the color add some blue just a little 

Mix, i over mix it bc like, its gonna get all mashed up at the end anyways lol

Bake until the cake isn’t running in the middle and springs back when lightly touched

How to make it look like doggie foods

Crumble cake into a bowl. Add in pudding and mash it up, adding in more pudding to get to desired texture, or what i do is add enough pudding to give it a nice dog food brown-gray and make it pretty moist, then I add in a splash of almond milk bit by bit to give me a desired texture

Put food in an empty clean ravioli or other can that held human food. 

And then when ever I make up my brand labels, you can print that off, or make your own and slap that label on! :DD

S.344 - A bill to require the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to identify and conduct recurrent vetting of evacuees from Afghanistan found not to be properly vetted before entering the United States.

Senate Bill 344, was introduced on January 30, 2025, by Senators Rick Scott (R) and Joni Ernst (R), aims to enhance the security screening of Afghan evacuees who entered the United States without thorough vetting.

The bill mandates that the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) identify all Afghan evacuees who were paroled into the U.S. without proper vetting. Once identified, these individuals would undergo recurrent vetting to ensure they do not pose a threat to national security or public safety.

This legislation responds to concerns that some Afghan evacuees were admitted into the U.S. without complete background checks during the evacuation process. By implementing ongoing vetting procedures, the bill seeks to address potential security risks associated with these individuals.

This bill concerns me due to the current way the administration is handling deportations and screenings regarding immigrants. While this bill only speaks on Afgan evacuees, and only targets those evacuated, I cannot help but be skeptical of the way this will be implemented, as well as the precedent that it sets.

The other concern for me stems directly from the fact that Rick Scott was Elon's pick for majority leader. A bill coming from him concerns me as he is loyal to Donald Trump's agenda.

That said, I do not feel comfortable enough on this bill to ask you to contact your senators in favor or against this bill. I believe this is entirely a judgement call for your own to make.

Just Keep Baking #35 Black Bean Muffins

Sul Sul, Gerbits. Today we are going to be making a healthy recipe, using black beans. I was skeptical about any recipe using black beans. Searching through Pinterest you are bound to find one or two recipes for black bean brownies.

 And I had thought for the longest time that it would just taste weird.  Like I had originally thought that it would have an overwhelming bean flavor. And I am not one to like the bean flavor, so I was a little bit afraid. But, this recipe does not taste like beans at all. It just tastes like chocolate chip muffins. 

So let me encourage you to make these really good, really healthy muffins. 

Preheat the oven to 350℉.

Spray muffin tins with non stick spray. 

Place black beans and 1 egg in a food processor. And process them until the beans are well blended. 

Add the other 2 eggs. The recipe calls for maple syrup. I didn’t have enough maple syrup for this recipe so I found a substitute. ¼  cup sugar, ¼ cup brown sugar, ½ cup water, 1 teaspoon of butter and 1 teaspoon of vanilla. 

I used butter instead of coconut oil, and added it into the food processor. 

Add the vanilla and coffee, which is optional to enhance the chocolate flavor. 

Process all of these ingredients together until it is smooth. 

Now you are going to add the cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. 

Process it once more until smooth. 

Fold in ⅓ cup of chocolate chips.

Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups. 

Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips evenly among the tops of each muffin batter.

Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the middle of the muffins come  out clean. 

Place on a wire rack to cool for 10 minutes.

These muffins were really good, and because of the coffee that I added it was a very intense chocolate flavor. 

When I make these muffins again, I am going to add in a little bit more sugar. I think the reason they were kind of bitter was because of the fact that I used butter instead of coconut oil. When coconut oil has a little bit of natural sweetness in it, and butter does not. So, when I make this recipe again I am going to put some sugar on top and I think it will balance out.
